Stand Aids

A safe and efficient solution for both home and clinical settings, Stand Aids help individuals with limited mobility transfer from a seated to a standing position. Stand aids are particularly beneficial for individuals who are still somewhat weight-bearing and are able to participate in achieving a standing position. For people with limited mobility even small, incremental participation their own mobility helps maintain what mobility they have remaining as well as promoting muscle engagement and circulation. 

Unlike full-body lifts, which passively transfer a patient between locations, Stand Aids facilitate the standing motion which aids general mobility and independence. They also reduce the risk of caregiver injury by reducing the amount of physical effort needed to assist the patient’s transition.
